Subject: Rhode Island resists NDAA!

Contact your cowardly Congressman and INSIST he/she support/co-sponsor Ron Paul’s Bill that reiterates/reaffirms/restores our inalienable right under our Constitution to protect our Right to DUE PROCESS as AMERICAN CITIZENS which was breached by the NDAA.

 

Congressman Wittman voted in favor of the NDAA and INSISTS that it does NOT apply to American citizens. HE IS WRONG, as evidenced by the last Republican Debate in which one of the moderators (a female) STATED specifically in addressing Mitt Romney, that the NDAA provided for the indefinite detention of American citizens. In light of that statement  she asked Mitt Romney if he would have signed that bill into law. Romney replied, “Yes”.

Ron Paul has introduced a bill that fixes the NDAA by eliminating the offensive parts of Section 1021 regarding martial law and the indefinite prison detention of innocent Americans under the pretence of just being "suspected terrorists" .  
 
Please contact your representative  and tell them to support Paul's bill #  HR 3785. - better yet, become a sponsor.
