Edward Snowden's revelation created uncertainty about government's use of our private information for "National Security" purposes. The HITECH Act is encouraging the computerization of medical records to make them accessible by medical emergency rooms, hospitals, physicians, and insurers. Internet businesses know more about us, than our own mothers. Corporate customer transaction data files have been hacked and Internet businesses now know more about us than our own mothers.

Traditionally, we thought that our information was private but recent reports are putting that into question. In the future, can we expect a reasonable level of privacy or is that now a luxury of the past?
