Subject: Good New via Tom RedfernTom Redfern has reported good news from the Virginia General Assembly. The Senate FULL P&E Committee today considered SJ-91 which calls for an undesirable National Constitutional Convention. Republican Senator Steve Martin moved that the bill be sent to the floor of the Senate for consideration. Of the 9 other republican and the 10 democrat senators, THERE WAS NO "SECOND THE MOTION".At least four other bills which call for a national constitutional convention have been dropped in the hopper. Those four bills also now seem likely to fail based on today's rejection. That is good news. One other bit of good news is that the senate republicans now seem NOT to be as loyal to their misleaders as had been expected by some observers.Tom Redfern deserves the "man of the year" award for his tenacious tracking and planning activities for those who realize that a constitutional convention would be extremely risky considering the low approval rating of the U.S. Congress at the present time. Freedom lovers, in Virginia and across the nation, appreciate Tom's leadership in the effort to educate uninformed legislators of the perils of a national constitutional convention. You may join in the effort by contacting the VIRGINIA CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION RESCEND COMMITTEE,(VCCRC), at phone number 757-537-1351."That Freedom Shall Not Perish",Joe Kee (member, VCCRC)
