Betty and Tricia and DeWitt,

 

This may not be the right time or place and you may not be the ones to send this information to, but you know to whom it must be forwarded--Tea Party people in the counties and localities (Mathews, Middlesex, King William, Essex, West Point, Tappahannock, others??) who are part of the Regional Jail serving this area.  I don't know much other than I've been told Tea Party Patriots MUST begin attending their meetings--first Wednesday of each month, 10:00 a.m., at the MPPDC office building, 125 Bowden, Saluda. 

 

From what I'm being told:  It seems the money being poured into this authority has grown by leaps and bounds while serving fewer and fewer prisoners.  It also seems that because this is a Regional Jail Authority there is little, if any, oversight by anyone.  I believe our respective BOS are to have representatives at each monthly meeting to serve on the administrative board.  Apparently this has not been happening and attendance has been very spotty.  The new building was to have been paid off and from what I'm told this money has gone elsewhere (where???).

 

The last thing any of us want is to have to attend another meeting, but it sounds like light needs to be shined full strength on what's going on here.  One of our Middlesex Patriots has agreed to attend the next meeting.  Perhaps, there are Patriots you know who would be willing to do the same.
