[Peninsula-Patriots] Good news and bad news

Again from our patriot Sue Long who keeps a close eye on Congress and our Virginia legislature.
Thanks Sue.

Subject: Good news and bad news

Rob Wittman did vote NO on the "Fiscal Cliff" bill to his credit and is to be commended.

However, just before the holiday break he voted  FOR the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) whereby patriotic Americans can be detained without due process of law on only the suspicion of being a terrorist.  His argument is that it is good for defense and would not be used against innocent Americans.  However if that be the case then why was there an amendment that would take out the offensive language to that effect - and why did he vote against the amendment?
