Re: [Peninsula-Patriots] Fwd: Good article

Excellent description and I hope you find my attached notes/remarks helpful. I enjoyed being a Panelist at the NN Town Hall "Community Violence" meeting in the new $15 million community center in Denbigh on Saturday.
Best Regards,

America Has 'Gangsta-Violence' Problem

By Ted Nugent
It's a sly trick, a not so artful play on words.

Those who write about violence in America often refer to violence as gun violence. These op-ed writers have a clear and present anti-gun agenda.

It's not gun violence. The truth is that it should be labeled as "gangsta violence." Virtually no op-ed writers are honest or professional enough to call it what it is. They are all guilty of abusing the First Amendment.

Much of the bloodshed on America's sidewalks can be attributed to soulless gangstas killing their fellow soulless gangstas.

The gangstas responsible for the bloodshed are high school dropouts, belong to street gangs, have been raised in single parent households, have no respect for life, and usually have lifetime arrest records. There is a pattern here. A profile if you will.

When the gangstas don't have guns, they always find other ways to kill each other. It is not uncommon for them to beat each other to death with bats and pipes and knife each other.

Not so fascinating to me, but when we remove gangsta statistics from the number of people murdered in America, what we will find is that America is a peaceful country.

Take the president's hometown, not so sweet Chicago.

According to Chicago's finest, up to 80 percent of the Windy City's murders and shootings are the result of gangsta violence. Estimates on the number of gangstas roaming the streets of Chicago are as high as 70,000.

Other cities are similar. According to the Centers for Disease Control, "gangsta violence" in Los Angeles accounts for the vast majority of killings among 15 to 24-year-olds.

According to the National Gang Intelligence Center report "2011 Gang Threat Assessment," the gangsta problem in America is substantial.

The report noted that gangsta violence is continuing to rise. It found that gangstas are responsible for almost 50 percent of violent crime in most areas. Some jurisdictions in Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Oklahoma and Texas report that gangstas are responsible for up to 90 percent of crime.

Even more alarming, the number of gangstas is rising. The number of gangstas is estimated to be 1.4 million comprising more than 33,000 different violent gangs in America. The total represents a 40 percent increase from the estimated 1 million gangstas in 2009.

The National Institute of Justice reports that "Gang members engage in a higher level of serious and violent crime than their non-gang-involved peers. Research about gangs is often intertwined with research about gun violence and drug crime. It is clear that gangs, guns, drugs and violence are interconnected."

Clearly, what America has is a gangsta-violence problem that will not be reduced by removing so-called assault weapons and high capacity magazines from law-abiding citizens. Only feel-good idiots, those with an anti-gun agenda, and Fedzillacrats believe that.

Removing the gangstas from America's streets would make our communities safer and reduce the bloodshed. Imposing onerous gun restrictions on law-abiding citizens is the pursuit of fools who put law-abiding citizens at risk. These gangsta lovers should be voted out of office, as they advocate danger and mayhem.

The truth is that we don't have a gun-violence problem. What America has is a gangsta-violence problem and a failed court system that keeps unleashing them onto our streets.

Distinction between conservation and environmentalism: The first means taking care to use natural resources without ruining them for the next person. The second says that mankind has no rights and suggests that any use of any natural resource causes damage. We must STOP AGENDA 21!
