Re: Your Campaign and the Muslim Brotherhood

Hi, Robert --
You  might just have something with the tax issue.  What were the taxes before and after Mr. Stewart had influence, and how much influence did he realistically have?
As for the labor union, I am certainly no fan of unions, but from a business standpoint, did bringing in a union HQ into the county make economic sense?  How much revenue in taxes, and wages and jobs did it bring in vs. the $50k laid out?  Simply having a union HQ move in does not necessarily mean the county is going to go union, and, which union -- something truly egregious like SEIU? a government union? or a more benign actor?  These are questions I would like to see the answers for before I would jump one way or another.

Best Regards,
Ted

It might be just as well to look at taxes in Prince William County or the issue of approving $50,000 to entice a labor union to move it's headquarters to Prince William.

On taxes and issues such as this alone Mr. Stewart disqualifies himself. Yes he carried a good fight on Illegal immigration and he deserves credit for that but compare it to the job Susan Stimpson did in Stafford cutting taxes and spending and you have your candidate.

Stimpson was the ONLY ONE MONDAY NIGHT AT BENEDICTINE TO PUBLICLY DENOUNCE THE REPUBLICAN PARTY ESTABLISHMENT in the open, and that is good enough for me.  She has proved her toughness and conservative credential with her actions, not just her words.

Well said Ted.  I am sorry that I have no factual information to offer one way or the other, but I applaud the integrity of your approach to this matter.

OK, Folks --
It's time for some homework.  I was gratified to have Corey Stewart answer my fairly critical email in such a timely fashion, and I owe him a response.  My concerns re. David Ramadan are shared by most, if not all of you, but, Mr. Stewart has posed some rather salient, if not disturbing, rejoinders.   The most surprising one is that David Ramadan worships at an evangelical church.  I did not know this.  Further, Mr. Ramadan does have an impeccable conservative voting record.  Yes, he does work within the Muslim community, but that may not be a sinister association.
Regardless of Mr. Stewart's apparent lack of knowledge of ISNA or the Gulen schools, the primary issue is his association with David Ramadan.  Is Mr. Ramadan what he appears, or is he an Islamist mole?   I have heard a lot of anecdotal "facts" condemning him as the latter, such as his support for the Ground Zero mosque and his funding by, and his associations with, Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated organizations.  Mr. Stewart has rightly asked for proof of these allegations, and I have been assured by many that there is such.  He has stated that should the allegations prove true he will indeed renounce his support and association with Mr. Ramadan.
So if I am going to press this issue with Corey Stewart, I need the rock-solid proof, not hearsay, but real, documentable proof that will convince him of David Ramadan's duplicity, if true.  I need it ASAP, and it needs to be irrefutable, not just stories,  I am going to respond to Mr. Stewart Friday, and I need your input before then.
Most of you know how I feel about the threat of Islam and stealth jihad, and I will do my level best to expose it and fight it where it exists, but I will not go on the attack without being damned sure I am right.   It would be a grievous wrong to oppose David Ramadan, and, by extension, Corey Stewart, should they not be what the rumors and accusations allege.  Give me the proof.

Best Regards,
Ted

Hi Ted,

First, I want to thank you for bringing this to my attention. As you probably know, I have been the subject of many anonymous attacks since receiving the support of the Tea Party Federation on Monday. Receiving that support has been the proudest moment of my time in politics, but it has also painted a bullseye on me. So, I appreciate your forthrightness and giving me an opportunity to address this.

Now to your question. Delegate David Ramadan is a Republican and represents part of Prince William and Loudoun Counties. Since getting elected in 2011, David has represented us as a staunch conservative in the House of Delegates and was one of the brave members to vote against the transportation tax increase.  As a fellow conservative, and as the leader of a County that he partially represents, I of course support him.  He is also supported by former Attorney General, Ed Meese, and many other prominent conservatives.

That said, if the allegations that are laid out below are true, i would not only drop my support of him, but I would condemn him. If there is any evidence of the allegations, please send it to me.   I know that David was accused of these things when he was running for office. Politics can be dirty, and reputations can be easily and unjustly slurred, especially in the age of the internet. I would ask that you give David a chance to address these accusations with you.

This is what I know about David.  David worships at Park Valley Church, a conservative evangelical Christian church in Gainesville.  I know his Pastor, Pastor Barry White, and have attended services there myself. I spoke to David a few moments ago, and he has publicly, and viciferously, condemned CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood, as well as any other radical or anti-American organization.  I also, of course, denounce those organizations. He wasn't very familiar with ISNA or their activities, but if they are acting similar to CAIR, he will condemn them too.  So, if you asking me to denounce David based on on unproven allegations.  The answer is No.  I will not denounce anyone based on things that are not only unproven, but contrary to what I know about the man.  If the allegations are proven true, then i would denounce him.

David would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss this with directly.  He asked me to give you his telephone number if you are willing to talk.  He has been attacked repeatedly since running for office, and those attacks have not ceased since he got elected.  It has been very frustrating to him because most of those attacks have come anonymously.  Please feel free to call me at 703-283-2802 if you would like to discuss this further.

Corey

Dear Mr. Stewart --
It has come to my, and many others', attention that you are a longtime political supporter of, and are supported by, David Ramadan.  Either you are unaware, or, worse, approving, of his solid connections with organizations such as CAIR and ISNA, both firmly connected to, and funded by, the Muslim Brotherhood, a self-declared enemy of the United States.  Mr. Ramadan was also a strong supporter of the Ground Zero mosque.
Although we heartily approve of your conservative record, unless you publicly renounce your support for David Ramadan and all Muslim Brotherhood affiliated groups, I and many others will be voting against you at the Convention.

Very Sincerely,
Ted Williams
