The first order of the day and every waking minute of every single day for the military at any level is To Honor and Obey their Oath to Protect and Defend Our Constitution and the People. Not the Elite Ruling Criminal Class who for years have been operating outside The Constitution and it's authority. This criminal act is inclusive of the Republican and the Democrat Parties. And party they have for over 150 years to the tune of putting the people of this nation in debt, funded and unfunded, in excess of $125 Trillion.

I have said this before.

Allow me to put a different spin on this. As a 30 year military veteran who had access to many exercise scenario and planning functions I can tell you this is common practice. Our military leaders are tasked by the NCA (National Command Authority) to have contingency plans for any conceivable event that may befall our nation. The military would only act on orders from the NCA in the event of serious threats to our nation, either natural disasters, Nuclear, Chemical, or Biological attack, internal insurrection is only one scenario.

 

These exercise/planning events occur on a regular basis, the exercise planners, scenario developers are usually civilian 50 pound heads who may have their own political feelings, unlike the military who will abide by the Presidents orders, Republican or Democrat. I will agree that using the Tea Party as potential threat to the nations security was quite a stretch, but again only a scenario which when planned for and contingency operations are developed it would apply across the board.  Perhaps if they identified the "bad guys" as the New Black Panthers, Skin Heads or white supremacists in the west as the subjects of a possible insurrection it may have been more palatable. I would guess they chose the Tea Party because we are probably the most organized, outspoken group in the country espousing change.

 

Contingency plans are just that, in the event of an emergency the Military has a plan for nearly anything that could possibly happen. We were the first ones on scene at Katrina, we had a plan. FEMA didn't, the city of New Orleans didn't, the Louisiana state government didn't. Lets change the planning scenario to white supremacists in Montana , Idaho , North and South Dakota , perhaps throw  Iowa in with them. They win the Governorships and legislature and decide they will secede from the union. What will our government do? Do you believe the Civil War was justified? Do you believe that Military action, as ordered by the nations Command Authority, to suppress armed insurrection is unjustified? Just my two cents, our military is our friend and stands by to support the elec ted officials of the Federal Govt.  We should feel confident that in the event of an emergency they most likely have thought about it, planned for emergency response action and will act only when ordered by competent authorities.
