Conservative Grassroots Activist Training Workshop

When some see the word 'activist', they think of OWS or ACORN and that's a shame!

Activism is NOT A BAD WORD!

 The dictionary simply says:

• an especially active,  vigorous advocate of a cause, especially a political cause, or

• an individual who expresses their ideas by getting involved and taking action.
  

 The essence of conservatism has been to let things alone, stay out of the fray, be and let be... Unfortunately that has not been a good defense against those who have designs on our lives and our land! It's time we get engaged! We need to learn to fight back effectively.

 To that end, the Peninsula Patriots of Gloucester and Mathews are sponsoring a training session to be held at the Gloucester Library on June 9th from 10 AM until 6 PM. The price is only $25 which includes lunch and books. This workshop will be presented by an outstanding instructor from the well-known Leadership Institute in NoVA. 

Attendees will learn how to: 

• Get involved
• Drive support for an issue or candidate
• Organize activists in large or small groups for maximum impact
• Communicate more effectively
• Hold elected officials accountable
• Become more effective activists

I hope you, along with your conservative friends, neighbors, and relatives will come spend a day with some like-minded people learning to do all we can to halt the leftward march of America so that our children and their children will have the privilege of living in the America we knew - Land of the Free,  Home of the Brave - Sweet Land of Liberty!
