After talking to some of you last night at the Middle Peninsula Tea Party meeting I have the sense that many of you feel like you are in the midst of a storm that is sweeping across America. I too have that sense of what is happening to our country and wonder why it is so difficult to get others to understand.
I have been sailing for many, many years. My wife was frightened once in a storm so no longer wanted to sail. So nearly all of my sailing has been alone. While thinking on these things I remember times when I faced storms alone, many times scared to death and praying all the while that God would see me through. Thankfully He did. I think I learned to love this song so much because it reminds me of those times and God's faithfulness when I needed Him most. This morning while listening to it my thoughts went immediately to the storms we are facing today. For me personally, my anchor has and will always be Jesus Christ. Some may not understand this but I know beyond any doubt that many of you do. May God bless you and may God bless America. Please listen to this beautiful song which I believe will give you a sense of peace.

Speak the truth even if your voice shakes.
"The further a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those who speak it."
