[Peninsula-Patriots] Time and place for Town Hall

On a previous email I did not list the time and place. Here it is

It will be at 7:00 p.m. at Cooks Corner Office Complex east of Saluda.  I believe the actual address is 2693 General Puller Highway.

I want to inform you that the Middlesex Tea Party is having a Town Hall Meeting on May 2, 2013. The topic will be Common Core Education which should be of concern to all of us who wish to reform our public schools. Be sure to mark your calendars for this very important meeting.

Mark your calendars for Thursday, May 2, 2013, for the Middlesex Tea Party Town Hall featuring Jane Hogan who will have a Power Point presentation on the Common Core Educational System and the Longitudinal Data Study program. 

Contrary to what Dr. Thomas Taylor, superintendent of Middlesex Public Schools, announced to some of us at the recent BOS meeting, both these programs are alive and being used in Virginia.   

Mrs. Hogan is a retired teacher who does her research.  She is making presentations all over the state about these programs, telling us what the National Education Association and our elected (mostly unelected!) officials won't tell us.
