In addition to esthetic and environmental considerations, solar and/or wind energy are a guaranteed perpetual tax increase at the federal and state (and possibly local) levels because they are simply not economical without subsidies. These may be paid as taxes or as charges toyour regular electric bill. further, as events in Texas have recently shown, they are NOT a reliable source of energy.
